Fred joined Morris|Hardwick|Schneider in 2002. Fred is a partner in the firm’s Dunwoody Perimeter office where he serves as General Counsel for the firm. Fred practices in the areas of commercial real estate, real estate brokerage law, corporate law, and real estate litigation. He represents developers and builders in preparing land acquisition contracts, closing land purchases, preparing declarations of covenants, preparing lot contracts, preparing new construction purchase and sale agreements, incorporating homeowners associations, assisting homeowners associations in enforcing subdivision covenants, and prosecuting and defending lawsuits. Fred serves as Legal Counsel for the Atlanta Board of Realtors, Inc., the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, Inc., and the Cobb Association of Realtors, Inc. Fred is a member of the Real Property Law Section and the Administrative Law Section (Former Chairman) of the State Bar of Georgia, the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia, and the Federal Bar Association (Former President of the Atlanta Chapter and National Vice-President for the Eleventh Circuit).
Fred received his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University School of Law where he was a member of The Order of the Coif. While attending Tulane, he served as Articles Editor of the Tulane Law Review. In 1970, he received his undergraduate degree, with high honors, from The Citadel. Fred served for three years in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps after he completed law school.
