Richard joined Morris|Hardwick|Schneider in 1994 and serves as President of the Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and New Jersey Districts of LandCastle Title Company. Richard has extensive experience handling a myriad of real estate matters, including residential real estate closings, commercial real estate closings, land acquisition and development, REO seller representation and corporate relocation closings. Richard is involved with several local chapters of the National Homebuilders Association, the National Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. Richard has served as the Chairperson of the Budget Committee for the I-85 North Corridor Board of Realtors and as an Associate Director for the Jackson County Builders Association. In 2000, Richard received the “Associate of the Year” award from the Jackson County Builders Association.
Richard received his Bachelor of Arts degree and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina. He was awarded the Presidential Scholarship and the C. Russell Hill Scholarship during his undergraduate studies. He also received the South Carolina Trial Lawyers’ Association Scholarship during law school. Richard was inducted into several honorary societies while at the University of South Carolina, including Omicron Delta Epsilon, Pi Sigma Alpha, and Gamma Beta Phi. Richard served as Chairperson of the Peer Conduct Review Board during his senior year of college.
In his free time, Richard enjoys the company of his wife and four young children. He loves to golf and is an avid South Carolina Gamecocks fan.
